Cumalıkızık is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The village has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 due to its well preserved nature and the importance of the establishment of the Ottoman Empire, in other words it is regarded as an important place for all humanity. The village, which has already gained a reputation in Turkey due to the withdrawal of the Kınalıkar line here, has thus become one of the places frequented by foreigners.
